Unworldly Potential forges a unique testimony to an artist not belonging to any genre in the newly released full length digital edition on memoirs by Data Morgana.

Continuing the labels interest in open-ended collaboration and releasing sonic memoirs in various audio formats, Data Morgana, without question, in the realm of electronic music is one of the finest you might encounter.

The album is a meditation on the producers ever-challenging approach in blending electronic music and natural sounds. Some recordings were taken live in single sessions allowing creative mistakes, hums and noises, natural phenomena to take centrefold. Other compositions were carefully arranged with few collaborators on saxophone and guitar harvesting aetherial melodies and repetitive motifs to dub delays and ecstatic bursts of earthy and metallic textures rich in timbre.

Konstantinos Tassopoulos was born in Greece in the mid-seventies where his musical journey began by studying Piano and melodic percussion. By the nineties, Konstantinos started experimenting with electronic instruments and decided to relocate to London for formal studies in Music Technology.

In 2008 Konstantinos settled in Berlin where he held various residencies and released music on prominent labels as Ekkohaus (Morris Audio / Moon Harbour / Mule electronic etc) and member of Keller Crackers (Marmo Music / Kashual Plastik). While residing in Berlin from 2016 to 2020 Konstantinos was the co-producer for radio program, Hi-Point Low Life on Cashmere Radio.

Data Morgana is the producer's new project, which slowly surfaced as the interplay between all of Konstantinos’ various identities. Unworldly Potential is his first release on memoirs.
